Vehicle Detail
Here is a car that will stand out at any show or cruise-in!! Get in on the wagon excitement with a real American classic!! This car has a sliding rear roof!!!! The Studebaker Lark Wagonaire has a 259 V-8 with a Flowmaster exhaust that sounds great! The Wagonaire runs and drives great around town on on the freeway. All the lights, radio, turn signals etc. work. It is equipped with a two speed automatic. The original wheel covers come with the car. What a great grocery getter! Take the team to practice in this and you'll be the envy of the neighborhood. The paint is faded, but check out that lettering. These ars were used as track vehicles for the Studebaker racing team at the Bonneville Salt Flats. President Kennedy used a fleet of them at Camp David. Lots of history here. The interior is in good shape. It does need a headliner if you want to get it back to show condition. It wouldn't take much beyond a paint job, but it draws a crowd at every show just like it is. This is a California car, so no rust bucket here. The California black plate is on the front. I would not hesitate to go cross country in this car. I would love to keep it in the garage and continue to enjoy it, but I picked up another project and something has to go, as I refuse to leave this one outside.
