Up for auction is a 1985 SVO Mustang. The car located in Western MA and is bieng sold as-is with no reserve. I currently live in IL and do not have the time to invest in the car so it must go. This car is intact except for a battery although not entirely original (GT taillights, GT shift knob? aftermarket radio). This car has been in storage for approximately 5 years, I had installed a new transmission and soon after noticed the oil looking green. Assuming a blown head gasket the car was not driven any more until the best intentions of rebuilding it fell through. The car is equipped with power windows, locks and AC but the belts were never on when I purchased it so I do not know if the compressor is good, also car did not have catalytic convertor when I bought it. The title of this car does state vehicle is in excess of mechanical limits. Also the car has leather seats, if you know your SVO's they are typically trashed and this is no exception, steering wheel leather was worn through on top but not as bad as some... I will do my best to answer all questions by email (or phone) but will not have access to more pictures, the car can be viewed with prior arrangements but obviously can't be driven. Terms of the auction will be cash when the vehicle is picked up (flatbed recommended) and it will be expected to be removed from location within two weeks of auction close. I am listing another SVO as well, there are some spare parts (turbos, intake manifold and exhaust manifolds) that will be included to the first buyer to pick-up. I hate to see the car parted out but I do not know who the culprits are anymore. Good Luck and Thanks for bidding. Tom
