Buy it now, and it's yours !! REDWOOD COPPER METALLIC & GRAYSTONE WHITE 1958 Pontiac Bonneville 2 Dr. Hard Top. 50th Anniversary year for Pontiac. Powered by the 370 C.I. with 4 barrel carb. and dual exhaust mated to the automatic 4 speed Super Hydra-Matic Transmission. Has power steering and power brakes. Options include 3 bar spinner wheel covers "5", one on spare, Safegaurd speedometer, rear seat speaker with control switch, and the "Rare" Sportable Transistorized combination car and portable radio. Radio slips out of dash for portable use. Locking mechanism in glove compartment prevents theft. Recent updates Brake system: New master cylinder, brake booster, lines, hoses, wheel cylinders, brake linings, and front drums. Fuel System: New fuel pump, filter, carb rebuilt. Ignition: New plugs, wires, distributor cap, points, condensor, coil. Exhaust: New dual exhaust system from manifolds back. Flowmaster mufflers with a nice mellow sound. Suspension and steering: Inspected and needs nothing. Electrical: 1000 plus cranking amp. Super Starter Battery. All interior and exterior lights work properly. Cooling: Radiator cleaned, new hoses. Tires: New P225 75R 14 Coker Classic "Radial" Wide Whites. Less than 100 miles on them. Engine, Transmission, Rear End: Runs smooth and quiet, shifts great. Original finish on engine. Not correct air cleaner. New belts. Chrome: Original, good shine, with some dings and pitting. New rocker panel moldings. Glass: Good, a little delamination on vent window edge. Windshield very good with 1 very small stone bruise lower left corner. Interior: Good, except lower section of door panels below lower chrome strip. See photos. New door, roof rail, and trunk weather seals. New trunk mat. Dash: Lots of good looking shiny chrome. Body: Straight, No evidence of collision repair. All panels appear to be original. Lower panels behind rear wheels, trunk lid lower inner panel, and trunk rear body panel and floor have had rust repair. Floor pans solid. Paint: Good shine but old. some areas with cracks and craze. Mostly on the hood. No dings or scratches. Runs, drives, and sounds very good. All there, nothing missing. The new Coker radials made a big difference in ride and handling. Mechanical Defects My next winter project if I don't sell it. Wipers: Slow vacuum wipe.I don't drive it when it looks like rain. Rain X on windshield if it does. Plan on converting to electric Radio: Portable works on batteries when removed from dash, but not when in dash on car battery power. Plan on installing a CD in glove compartment with remote control. Fuel guage: Not accurate. Needs new tank sending unit. Clock and "Speed Minder": Don't work and never will as long as I own it. Leaks: Engine and Transmission. It's old and drips on garage floor. Will keep wiping floor. Be prepared to talk about this car where ever you go. Draws lots of attention. Not a show car, but a very good driver, cruise-in type car that you don't have to be afraid to drive. When is the last time you saw a 58 Bonneville on the road? Check my feedback. I tell it like it is. No surprises.
