Thank you for looking at our auction. This is now the second time we have had to list our Excursion due to non-paying winning bidders. I am listing this Excursion for my parents. They bought it 7-2009 to go back and forth to their second home in Texas; it replaced their 2002 Suburban Z71. They are the second owners of the Excursion. Since that time, he has sold that home and brought the Excursion to his home in Virginia Beach, VA. It took him 5 months to find this exact color combination and to find a Excursion that was not abused or used for towing. It is a 2004 Ford Excursion 4x4 Limited. It is black with tan leather interior and has the 6.8 liter V10 motor, 310 horsepower. This motor is known for its reliability! Why buy a diesel? It would take years to make up the money difference between a diesel and gas Excursion if you calculate fuel economy savings. Call up your local Ford dealership and ask the cost of a tune up with a diesel vs a V10.. it will shock you! This is a very impressive SUV in person, must see to appreciate. My parents receive compliments on it all the time! Used for long trips, not a tow vehicle. My parents have put about 10,000 miles on it and they liked it far better than their 2002 Suburban Z71! It runs like new! All maintenance up to date with no expense spared. It was used for long distance travel so my Father made sure everything was in proper working condition (He is an Engineer and is very picky about his cars). March 2010 it received top of the line Michelin tires on it ($1,200), new brakes/rotors all around ($980), tune up, and all new fluids/ VA state inspection performed at Beach Ford in Virginia Beach. It needs nothing but a new owner. We have the keyless entry remotes and owners manuals. The Exterior is in good shape. The paint has a nice shine to it. As with most Black vehicles that are 6 years old, there are some scratches around the body. Nothing that detracts from the overall look of the truck. As stated before, we get compliments on it almost daily. No accident history! The Interior is in excellent shape. The leather shows only minimal wear on the driver's seat; the rest of the seats are in great shape. Carpets and headliner are in great shape. There is no wear on the steering wheel or armrests as you will find on other Excursions of this age. The A/C and heat work perfectly. All power options work perfectly. Stereo and CD player sound great. Steering wheel HVAC and radio controls work 100%. Cruise control works 100%. Onto the Pictures: Why are we selling it? My parents are no longer travelling between homes so there is no use for the Excursion at this point in time. It is advertised locally, so it may sell before the end of the auction. There is a lien with Navy Federal Credit Union. Once it is paid off it takes 2 business days to get the title from them. A $300 dollar deposit is required within 48 hours of the auctions end via paypal or cashiers check/money order. The vehicle must be paid for in full within 10 days of the auctions end. Vehicle must be picked up within 30 days of the auctions end. Deposit is non refundable. I will be happy to pick the winning buyer up at the Norfolk International airport.
