My '83 XJ6. One of the nicest cars to drive that I've ever owned. Now I have the bug and I intend to buy another in nicer condition. This car runs and drives as-is but could use a lot of work. There's a lot of rust and some rear end damage that prevents the trunk lid from latching. The silver paint is actually sparkly (like bass boat sparkly). It looks pretty silly within 8 feet but shines pretty nice outside that distance. Engine and transmission seem strong and this car started everyday as my daily driver (in northern Iowa winters!). I have an '84 XJ6 VDP as well and will include it if the price goes over $1000.. buy the set and put them together!?! Also included with that price is 4 Dayton wire rims.. They will NOT go with the car otherwise but they look very sharp on there. I might sell them with the car additionally. Contact me if that is your intention..
