Vehicle Detail

2000 Honda CBR F4 Only 9,928 miles! I actually purchased this bike a long time ago on Ebay. The bike is mechanically sound and has never given me any trouble. After all, it is a Honda. I kept up with all of the oil changes, chain lubes, break line flushes and other typical service. The bike was always winterized and stored in a garage. The motorcycle does have a salvaged title. Unfortunately, this was my first bike and I laid it down at around 15 miles per hour in 2007. The bike was inspected and cleared to drive immediately by a certified Honda dealership. I have driven the bike with no problems ever since. Most of the plastics were damaged, but other than a new break lever, no mechanical pieces needed replaced. The bike has a new windshield, plastics, mirrors, seat cover and more. The gas tank has a few light scrapes but nothing major. The Hindle exhaust is scuffed. However, after replacing all of the plastics, I cracked the front fairing by leaning it against the wall of my garage :-( Cosmetically the bike is imperfect. Mechanically the bike is exellent. I've already taken the bike out a few times this spring. Oh, and I just got a new battery. Most of my time on the motorcycle was spent commuting to work. I've probably averaged around 35 miles per gallon. The CBR F4 is commonly known as the most comfortable sport bike. The handle bar to seat height ratio is very forgiving. The rear seating area accommodates a passenger easier than most sport bikes and the rear has a little more storage under the seat than most sport bikes too. A typical 2000 Honda CBR is valued around $2700 by Kelly's Blue Book. However, most 2000 CBR's have +30,000 miles. The salvage title and cosmetic dings knock my price down. With only 9,928 miles on mine, there is a ton of life left and adds a lot of value. I love this bike because it is fun and dependable. I've decided to sell because I have my heart set on buying a fishing boat this summer. Bid away and good luck!On May-11-10 at 17:21:54 PDT, seller added the following information: I went to the DMV today to make sure I had all of the proper paperwork to sell the motorcycle. I found out that the bike DOES NOT HAVE A SALVAGED TITLE. The bike has a clear title. Apparently, the previous damage did not meet the Nebraska requirements for a salvage and therefor has a "CLEAR TITLE." I realize that the clear title does not change the current condition of the bike. However, it does make insuring the bike easier, reselling the bike easier, and increases the value. More good news for bidders. I can throw in a motorcycle cover, a Honda oil filter wrench, a Honda CBR maintenance manual and possibly a few other things that I will no longer be needing.
