I am selling my grandparents 1978 Cadillac Seville for them. They purchased the car in July of 86 with 77,349 miles on it and are the second owners. The car now has 100,036 miles and has been meticulously cared for by them the last 24 years. It was their second car and driven less than 1000 miles a year while in their possession. It has always been garaged and has only been rained on once since they have owned it. The Cadillac is equipped with the 350 fuel injected V8 and the automatic transmission was rebuilt at 80,000 miles. Power windows, locks, seat, everything, even power latching trunk. The fuel pump was replaced less than a thousand miles ago and I have a stack of receipts to go along with the car to show what all has been done to it. The original jack and trunk mat with the Cadillac shield is in the trunk along with the original spare tire cover. The car comes with a brand new AC compressor even though it does not need it. My Grandpa bought it many years ago "just in case". It is a 32 year old car so it is not perfect but has been very well cared for. The landau top shows some light fading and there is a small spot on rust on the lower front fender in front of the tire. The rest of the car is rust free. The original paint is not perfect but has been well cared for and in above average condition for its age. The rear bumper filler has become brittle and cracked due to age. It is an exceptionally clean car that starts right up, runs down the road great, and has that great vintage Cadillac luxury. OK, I started the car today after I listed it and discovered that the heater core has began too leak. I am reducing the reserve and buy it now price by $500 to cover the repair.
