1991 Mazda RX7, I purchased this car 5 years ago from eBay, I flew down to Southern California, San Louis Obispo to be exact, from Spokane Washington to pick up this car, I looked for quite a while until I found this one, I wanted an Ultra clean rust free 91 (preferably a Ca car) that I was going to convert to a fully Blacked out turbo sleeper RX7, (and when completed drive it to down to Seven Stock to meet my fellow Rotary enthusiasts in Irvine Ca)...... I drove the car home in July (Even stopped at the Garlic fest in Gilroy,Ca) the car ran flawlessly, everything worked fine, just the way it was supposed to, no surprises at all the car was very dependable, and I had an Absolute blast driving it, other than the Speeding ticket in Oregon,lol, ... that sadly is the only time that I have actually driven the car, the two days it took to drive it home, I Pulled out the stock motor soon after i got home, I spent the next year or so getting all kinds of custom parts to transform this car into a true RX7 Sleeper, unfortunately I was not able to complete this project due to some Health Issues, so as much as it Bums me out, I have to sell my dream RX7 project, this car comes fitted with a true Stainless Steel Custom exhaust system, it had a Racing Beat Header which connected into two Stainless Steel Magna Flow pre-silencers, which then it y`s into two 2 1/2" true dual Stainless Steel exhaust pipes mandrel bended into two Chrome Magna Flow Mufflers, for a full Stainless Steel custom exhaust, I wish I could get a better picture to illustrate the craftsmanship and detail and how cool this system looks (and sounds) .... there is no catalytic converter on this system, it was not designed for one, although it could easily be adapted for one).....there are about 2,000 miles on the exhaust system,(It was installed 3 mos prior to me buying the car) it is extremely well mounted, all heat shields remain in place and intact, the rubber mounting is in the stock locations, but much better tighter than the stock system and much much lighter as well, the previous owner paid over $1,500 parts and labor to have this exhaust system custom built including the header (I no longer have the Header) whoever buys this car will be getting a lot of top grade Mazda and JDM parts that I am including with this Car, I am selling this car with loads of extra parts...... ( I am also selling the 350 HP Custom 13b Turbo motor intended for the car in another auction) this car also comes with a Brand New extra Large 12x24x4 front mount XS intercooler, and a JDM after market fiberglass nose that can accept the large intercooler, the nose will need some very minor glass work near the base and will need some reinforcement for the much larger Intercooler, also comes with 4 New drilled and slotted Rotors new in the boxes, along with new steel braided brake lines, and a set of front and rear Turbo II brake dual piston brake calipers. they are much better than the stock brake calipers, I also purchased a set of the ultra light 5 spoke 16x8 FD3S alloy rims, with stock center caps, the center caps are not installed (they go on Last) I did not want to scratch or damage them, It took me forever to find them, I ended getting a new set from Japan for $100 bucks , I also purchased a Turbo II Limited slip rear end, it still has the Metal Limited slip oil tag that specify which oil to use and fits over the drain plug, and appears to be in great condition, I was hoping it would have the Metal tag and it did, I also had a New Custom drive shaft fabricated, that uses standard heavy duty u-joints that you can get from any Napa, And it is stamped made in the USA (very cool)....it is much much stronger the stock drive line, I also purchased a a very nice lightweight 13LB AluminumTurbo II hood with the scoop, that is still in the shipping crate, I have yet to remove it as I did not want to damage it, also comes with a Brand new CSF Heavy Duty radiator still in the box, with upper stainless steel braided radiator hose with anodized fittings, and an under hood wind deflector to direct more of the outside wind to the Motor, to keep the car running cooler, and comes with two brand new True carbon fiber sill plates that are still in the box, they are very very nice items and genuine Carbon Fiber (pics dot not due them justice) and Carbon pillar pod that fits two gauges, and a brand new uninstalled genuine black Mazda shift boot, It also comes with Two new huge Yellow Bosch Fog Lights, that I was going to mount in the new Fiberglass nose, it also comes with a Turbo II suspension switch center council, the one with the factory Fog Light switch to control the Bosch fog lamps, a set of Blue glass replacement Headlights, they will look awesome with the Big Yellow fog lights, the Fog Lamps actually are quite a bit bigger than the Headlights, I am also including a set of four universal fiber glass sport Fender Flares for the wider tires that I had planned, it also comes with a brand new Walbro 255LPH FUEL PUMP, you can use the factory stock belly pan which is in perfect condition, with all mounting spots are perfect and intact, or you can choose to use the ultra rare Alloy belly pan from a 1989 RX7 GXL that I scored, they are very hard to find, this needs some minor metal work and a good buff job, they are a very lightweight and highly coveted item, this car comes with no seats and no engine, the seats were actually traded for the Turbo ll Brake calipers, a local guy wanted the seats, I planned on installing a set a black leather Supra seats anyway, the stock seats were not that appealing looking. so they had to go! This Car has never been in accident, there is not a speck of Body filler or body damage at all on this car, there are some assorted and very small door dings and such, nothing that cannot be fixed with a Dentless repair service, there is no rust on this car, except on the corners of the sun roof ( which was un noticable when I got the car, Spokane winters for ya) .....I was thinking of replacing it with a Carbon Fiber Sun Roof Panel, other than that there is no rust at all, Seriously none!, the bottom of this car looks like it`s two years old this car is not missing any of the interior parts vents etc, and everything works as it should, the glass is outstanding condition, the front windshield is perfect, not even a rock chip, the engine compartment is so clean you could almost eat off of it, the front brake air Ducts are in intact and in perfect condition, it is hard to describe how clean this car truly is, It is a ridiculously nice RX7 For being 19 years old, it still has the original floor mats, even Smells nice and new, I love the Smell of this car, not old and musty, smells better than my Lexus does, this is an extremely nice example of a 1991 RX7, I still have the original window sticker as well, If I can find it, I have looked everywhere (still looking) I have not given up on finding it, It comes with the original owners manual and all the assorted paperwork from the Dealer, even has the Plastic emergency Key that is located in the owners manual to start the car if you lose your Key, also has the original wheel locks and the paper work for them, this car was built in may of 1991, and they were only made into the first half of 1991, so this is one of the very last second gens ever made, This RX7 has a Clear California Title in my possession, All this car needs is Seats, maybe some adjustable Coil overs, and a Nice Turbo Rotary Engine, all the other essential performance parts are supplied in ths Auction, I also have the Motor that was intended for this car, with many cool extra parts. Listed in another auction. I will not be breaking up the parts in this auction, It would not be fair to the Buyer, Thank You. Here is a list of included parts that come with the 1991 RX7. 1) Full set of Light weight 16x8 FD3S Alloy Wheels, with new Center Caps. 2) Turbo II 13 Pound Aluminum Hood, still in shipping crate, did not want to damage it prematurely. 3) Full set of four New still in the Boxes Drilled and Slotted Rotors. 4 )Four New Stainless steel braided Brake Lines. 5) Turbo II Front dual piston and Rear Brake Calipers 6) Extra Large New 12x24x4 XS front Mount Intercooler. 7) New CSF Heavy Duty Radiator with new steel braided upper radiator hose with anodized fittings. 8) Four new genuine Mazda Center Caps for FD3S Wheels 9) 1989 GXL ALLOY Belly Pan, Needs some minor metal work. 10) New Silver and Black Leather wrapped "D" shaped Steering Wheel, with RX7 Boss mounting kit, and "Red Mazda Speed" Horn Button. 11) Fiberglass Front End with nice clear flash to pass lights( not the usual cloudy ones) comes with mounting brackets, New chrome wire mesh for Intercooler opening. Needs some Minor Glass work, will look Awesome with the Large intercooler. and Fog Lamps. 12) New Black genuine Mazda shift boot. not installed. 13) WALBRO 255LPH FUEL PUMP 14) New Never Mounted Real Carbon Fiber Sill Plates, these look absolutely beautiful, extremely high quality Product. 15) Dual gauge carbon Fiber Pillar Pod. not installed. 16) New Front and Rear Red Urethane Sway Bar Bushings. still in packaging. 17) Two new oversized Yellow Bosch Fog Lights, with mounting hardware. 18) Two Blue colored stock Headlight Replacements not installed, they will look great with the Yellow fog lights. 19) Underhood wind deflector, not installed. 20) Front Heavy Duty Polished Strut Bar, Installed. 21) Turbo ll suspension center control panel, with Factory fog light switch (for activating Bosch fog lamps) all mounting tabs are intact, not installed. 22) 4 New FiberGlass Fender Flares, for the planned Wider Tires, RX7`S look much more menacing with a wider stance and 265`s in the Back. Like a mini vette, only with more power per pound. 23) Stock Engine Mounts., Not installed. 24) Stock full set of 3 front Facia trim guards that fit under the stock front nose, that can be mounted to the New Fiberglass nose, to help protect the Front end. not installed. 25) Plastic Tote filled with parts removed from car. and some other misc parts. In Closing this would make a for a great Project for the Second Gen RX7enthusiast, or maybe a Father and Son project (Graduation Present) ? there are so many good quality parts here, it is a perfect Car to let your imagination run wild, this car will be a true foce to be reckoned with when completed.
