This is a 1992 3000GT VR4. I bought the car used, for a pretty hefty price because I was told it was in good condition and well cared for. The car did run really well for a time, then I took it in to get looked at. When I did, I learned that the wool had been pulled over my eyes....some previous owned had cracked the transmission housing and welded it back together. The transmission started causing problems and has damaged parts of the clutch as well. The vehicle will not shift, and I removed the battery since it was sitting. Lastly, it sat until it got two flat tires, then I was forced to move it, so the front tires cannot be patched and need to be replaced. You will need to trailer it away. Everything else on the car works fine, but I do not have the money to fix this car, which was meant to be a weekend fun car. The turbos are still in great condition, it has aftermarket Sparco racing seats, a short-trow shifter and a push button ignition. At this point I am just trying to sell the car to make back a small portion of what I spent on it. If you take my asking price, plus the price of replacement parts and labor (about $1000 for replacement parts), it is still cheaper than one in this condition.
