Vehicle Detail
2007 GMC 3500HD Crew cab, dual rear wheel, 4wd with 6.6L diesel engine and 6 speed Allison automatic transmission. Exterior color Silver Birch. Interior Color dark pewter. Truck has XM Radio and Onstar. Includes SLE1 Decor - power locks, power windows, Compass and Temperature in the rear view mirror, keyless entry, leather wrapped steering wheel, dual power heated outside mirrors with turns signal lughts, push button electronic transfer case. It also has the steering wheel audio controls. Power drivers seat, HD rear locking differential, HD trailering equipment with add on brake controller, 3.73 rear axle ratio, 215 85 16" all season tires, 11400 GVW. Since buying the truck we added an even heavier duty trailer hitch. Tires are at 60% or so. Goodyear shop that recently serviced it for inspection and tire rotation determined that the brakes are around 50% Vehicle condition - I did use this vehicle to plow snow with - the plow is NOT included. However I would entertain selling the plow with the truck to the winning bidder depending on how much was offered. I have found that no matter how careful I am while plowing that the snow banks eventually damage the rear wheel wells on the pick up bed. I replaced them completely last year at a cost of roughly $2700.00 - this needs to be done again so remember that expense you will incur if you are the winning bidder and want to replace the wheel wells. I would have replaced the wheel wells before selling but financially that isnt possible at this time due to slow times in the construction business. Since we had a snow plow on the truck and we are not selling it with the plow a new valence will also be needed. I do not know the cost of this item but a call to a GMC dealership would provide that answer. The only other damages to the outside are very small minor dents in the drivers door and the front passenger door - again both are minor and you may or may not be able to see them in the photos. I would say rough estimate to make the truck exterior perfect including the new wheel wells would be around $3000.00 if the work is done at a body shop. You will notice that the pick up bed has a different color to it in the middle - this is where the paint has worn off from the sander sitting in that spot during the winters. There are no dent issues with the inside of the truck bed. There are no interior issues with the cloth or anything else - all works and all in very good shape. The truck was placed in service on 12/05/06 so the power train warranty will go to 12/04/11 or 100000 miles. The reason for selling is that the truck is really too big to plow with and I am in the process of downsizing due to the tight economy and I have some equity in this truck so this one is up for sale. I really like this truck but it is not financially practical for me to keep it. Title is held by GMAC but it well under the reserve price. Winner bid would need to pay with 2 certified checks - 1 to GMAC for the payoff and 1 to me for the amount over the payoff less your certified check bank fee for the 2nd certified check. .
