64 tempest ,black with black interior ,was painted 3 yrs ago,looks good,body was in good shape had new lower quarters put on ,cragers ,newer tires ,custom 9" rear end perfect fit,still uses factory rear brakes,new last year ,has ford motosports posi,3.55 ring and pinion with all new bearings etc,moser axles,new drive shaft from drive line specialists, trans is a 4 speed manual ,muncie ,11 inch clutch etc,motor is a 400 sbc ,.030 over,keith black hyp- pistons ,forger rods 6",forged crank ,4 bolt splayed mains ,moroso oil pump and 7 qt oil pan,aluminum front cover ,isky solid lifter cam(lumpy ,i have all specs.crane hardend .100 long pushrods,hartland sharp roller rockers ,Dart platinum heads,49cc chambers,2.08 valves ,springd good till 600 lift,aqluminum v=covers,headman headers 1 3/4 tubes,single plane intake 850 holley double pumper,holley mechanical fuel pump,msd billet dist,msd 6al with limiter this all makes a 406 long rod engine that will bang the 7000 chip real fast according to dart compression is 12.3 to 1 (49cc heads with dished pistons) they said with this combo should be 575 hp would have to dyno it to see but it is fast ,real fast.i made it to run down the road but you could put a set of 4.56 or 88 in it and some sticky tires and go to the track,i am 50 plus yrs old and built the car from the bottom up,nice car.note rear tires in picture not on the car anymore here is a couple vidios http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0viZQ4i9SI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DiGDNSMatg i may consider selling as a roller w,trans 906-367-2003On May-08-10 at 17:44:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to let the 50 plus watchers know the car is forsale locally too,...On May-11-10 at 11:30:13 PDT, seller added the following information: People are asking whats wrong with the car ...speedo need a longer cable to work,,,muncie trans cabe mounts on the right side,the car runs and drives great......has a viberation over about 70 ., a couple rips in the drivers seat,although it has new carpet and a new headliner(has some wrinkles) I dont know what more to say other than I am selling it way too cheap and i am getting second thoughts .........It is a great car.....
