Vehicle Detail
Here’s A Once In A Lifetime Opportunity. 1967 Volkswagen Beetle (1) family owned since new. SHOWROOM ORIGINAL SURVIVOR, Savanna, Beige with Black interior. *OFFERED FOR 5 DAYS WITH NO RESERVE* You are bidding on a rare sought-after, 1-owner, original survivor 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. This beetle was purchased new in 1967 by Gunard and Olga Solberg and owned by the same family ever since it was new. It still has the ORIGINAL date coded “H0 code 1500cc engine” special ordered with popout rear windows. It comes with all records and owner history. I even have the old registration cards dating back to the ‘60s. I believe it was painted in the ‘80s however it looks like the original paint. The car runs, drives, and shifts great. This little car is extremely dry and solid. Even the steering wheel is MINT. Knowing that this is a (1) owner SOLID beetle is priceless. To have a collector car's history and documentation is something many strive for, and few achieve. This 1967 Volkswagen Beetle runs and drives great; it only has 134k miles since new. It has undergone all necessary mechanical needs to create and preserve it to its highest potential. I have not seen another example like this come up for sale in years. Each time I look at these pictures, I cannot believe this beetle is 43-years-old and unrestored. How many beetles have you seen in this condition after 43 years? This 1967 Volkswagen Beetle is super solid; it has a very straight body for being 43-years-old and untouched. This is an unrestored vehicle, so it has minor blemishes throughout. The interior is amazingly clean; even the headliner is 99% perfect. All the floors, supports, and doglegs are SOLID and untouched. You will be HARD-PRESSED to find another like this one. This is an absolutely stunning automobile for a serious collector of fine survivor classic cars. Just slide into the driver's seat, bump the key, and you're off. Everything works, even the horn. Remember, there are others out there that are all restored, but this one is original. As they say, “IT’S ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE.” Here is your opportunity to own a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle in its original condition. Keep in mind this is NOT a restored beetle. This is an absolute time capsule that you rarely see offered for sale and is simply priceless. This is the beetle that no money could create. It is only original once. A restored one is great if you can get the right individuals to properly restore it. The cost to restore a beetle properly today is quite expensive, not to mention the amount of time it takes to complete it. There are few hands capable of building a high quality beetle; plus you must think of whether they will be using original parts or reproductions due to the availability, time constraint, and cost. Whoever ends up with this beauty will have by far one of the NICEST ORIGINAL 1967 Volkswagen Beetle’s at any event. This 1967 Volkswagen Beetle has a Clear California Title. Thank you for your sincere interest and good luck to all bidders. All (0) FEEDBACK BIDDERS “MUST” CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BIDDING. THANKS; GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING!
