Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1955 GMC 1st series 3/4 ton pickup. Truck was originally red as seen under the hood with burgandy interior. It has the deluxe cab, originally with the 248 6 cylinder and hydramatic transmission. Some linkage, shifter, and column still on truck. It now has a Chevy 6 cylinder (FI222J) and 4 speed tranny in the bed with bell housing. I bought it from Reno, NV and the 2nd owner stated that there is nothing wrong with motor, etc. and will run. He had used it as a work truck for many years and bought a newer used truck to drive. He was a trim carpenter. The odometer shows 22,699, but not sure of actual milage, I am sure it has turned over once. The truck is complete as is. Damage includes dent in middle of mustache grill, d. f. fender dent on top, d. r. fender dent on bottom, p. f. fender dent back bottom, p. r. fender, small rust pin holes top by head light, p. running board dent. On both side of cab, just in front of doors are rusted through, but repairable. The door wind glasses have some bubbling with the p. side cracked and will need to be replaced. The rest of the truck is in pretty good condition. It has the hood bird, and both GMC & Hydramatic emblems on both sides of hood. Original wheels, including spare are on it. The interior is in very good condition with original seat and cover, nice. The dash has not been cut or drilled on. The only items missing is the original motor, tranny, and 3/4 emblems with rest of truck complete. The floor board and bottom of doors are good with only surface rust. The frame is extremely clean and untouched. I have tried to describe truck as accurate as possible. Truck comes with clear title. I may have to list a local pickup in order to get the eBay listing to work. Buyer is responsible for pickup and delivery of truck. I will help any way I can. Only sell to USA buyers, ABSOLUTELY no acceptions, please. Have not had good experience with others outside USA. Thank you On May-10-10 at 02:50:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note that a $250 deposit must be made within 24 hours of end of bidding with the balance paid within 48 hours of end of bidding. I had made these directions when making the ad and it showed up that the balance should be made within 7 days (this is incorrect). Thank you
