Vehicle Detail

This is an auction for a 2007 Triumph Thruxton in mint condition, with very low mileage and a ton of extra's! This bike is from Triumph's "Modern Classics" line of bikes that are basically modern versions of much beloved bikes from Triumph's past. The 2007 triumph was the last model year with carburetors...in 2008 Triumph went to fuel injection. This tends to be a favorable feature to many who like to work on their bikes themselves. Also, it fits in better with the whole "Modern Classics" theme Triumph created with these type bikes, fuel injection doesn't have the same appeal to many. This bike has many, many extra's with it: British Customs Performance Package - A $770 value! British Customs Air Box Elimination Kit for the Triumph Thruxton (Retails $295.00)British Customs Predator Exhaust for the Triumph Thruxton (Retails $525.00British Customs Low Profile Air Injection Removal Kit (Retails $24.95)British Customs Countershaft Front Sprocket (18 or 19 Tooth) (Retails $21.95) You get both the 18 & 19 tooth sprockets! The 19 tooth is currently installed! Jet Kit (Main Jet 135 & 140 Pilot Jet 42 )British Customs Fender Removal Kit - A $150 value! Kit Includes: Low Profile Lucas Taillight License Plate BracketFender Under plateStainless Steel Mounting Hardware OEM Style Connector Benefits: Change the look of your Triumph Plug and Play Brake Light (no wiring)Stainless Steel mounting hardwareFender under plate to protect under your seatEasily re-install your factory fender Rear Shocks From Ikon! - A $350 value! I replaced the springy spongy horrible rear shocks with a pair of Ikon 7610-SP14 shock absorbers. The difference is night and day! Check out Ikon's online, they have a great reputation. Progressive Fork Springs- A $100 value! In one of the pics you will see a box that says "Progressive Suspension". These are a pair of progressive type fork springs made by Progressive Suspension. I bought these as a winter install project and never got around to doing it. These springs will substantially increase the performance of the front forks. If you're a "do it yourselfer", then these will take no time at all, otherwise you can have these dropped in at the dealer if you choose for a nominal fee. Many Smaller Upgrades! If you look at all my pictures you will notice all of the other smaller upgrades I did to the bike. Some are purely cosmetic and others are there again for performance gains on the bike. All of these upgrades would cost more than $500 if you were to purchase them separately! They are: Billet end style mirrors, new header heat tape wrap, Union Jack breast plate, flush mounting gas cap, side panel aluminum screws (no Allen key necessary!), NKG Iridium spark plugs, pack of 8 replacement turn signal bulbs, LED bulb replacement for tachometer, speedometer and "idiot lights. These are LED's from Superbright LED's.com. These lights are SO much easier to see in bright daylight...never wonder if you're in neutral again! "Tailblazer" deceleration rear brake light indicator. This bulb will flash three times before going solid to get the attention of drivers behind you. A must have safety device in my opinion. Bulb is easily removed if not wanted/needed. A Haynes service and repair manual, which is a MUST have if you plan on tinkering with this bike...an awesome book! If you don't plan on tinkering, then it's just great to have on hand for checking tire pressure, oil changes etc. I also changed out the crappy plastic stock front brake fluid reservoir with a beautiful black metal one made by Triumph. Note: I have all the original stock pieces for this bike with the exception of the air box and rear fender. Otherwise, I have the stock rear shocks, the stock 18 tooth front sprocket, stock allen screws, stock Napolean style mirrors, all Triumph manuals and paperwork. The title is clear and I have the original. In closing, this is one fantastic bike. It has been lovingly cared for by me, 100% garaged, never dropped or scraped once. It only has 2950 miles on it, has been maintained AHEAD of schedule and runs in tip top form. It has all the upgrades that most, if not all Thruxton enthusiasts will do to their bike to get the most enjoyment and performance out of their machine. It will most certainly give endless hours to whoever is lucky enough to win it. Good luck and happy bidding!!
