Numbers matching, zero mile restoration. This was a pampered, two-owner, 17,773 mile Bonneville that I have completely restored to Triumph Factory Specifications. Rebuilt engine: new pistons, rings (std.), valves, guides, crank & rod bearings (std.), gaskets, seals,etc. All aluminum covers have been polished. Front end has new chrome fork tubes, seals and billet axle caps. Complete exhaust system is new. New seat cover, cables, countershaft sprocket, rear chain. The tank has been professionally painted in the original factory colors for 1978 ( 2 other colors were available, blue & brown, but this is the color of the cover bike on the brochure ) All chrome is original and excellent. Brakes are rebuilt and front rotor resurfaced. All electrics work. Incldes original 1978 Cycle World road test and factory Sales Brochure. This is a desirable year because it is 750cc, 5 speed, left-side shift, dual disc brakes and has the improved Amal MK.II carbs that use a cold-start enrichener and no "ticklers" .
