This was a corporate fleet lease company car, someone's daily driver. It has been very well treated, looks nice and runs and drives as good as new. It hasn't been smoked in, it's well equipped, never wrecked or damaged. It's just a nice clean all wheel drive wagon that'll haul all the troops and gear and still maintain good fuel economy and longevity. exterior The paint and body on this car look original, no signs of any repaint at all. It maintains nice gloss and has no rust, hail, or body damage. We don't salt the roads in Colorado, so even the undercarriage looks good. The wheels look nice and tires all have good even tread. They're Goodyears, expensive tires which goes to show the fleet company didn't skimp on service. The windshield has some light pitting, no cracks though. Our cost is $125 if you'd like a new one. The trim is nice, bumpers are straight and there's no dents, really not even any door dings. It does have a couple tiny marks here and there and still isn't new, but it looks quite presentable for an 08. The only thing I guess I'd mention is the front end is pitted a bit from a lot of freeway driving which this vehicle has had. Yes, pits the front a bit, but it's a lot less work on everything mechanical. The photos document everything well, nice and clean as far as most 67k mile black vehicles go. interior The interior is right on par. It hasn't been smoked in or had animals, smells very pleasant. It's well equipped and everything works nicely. There's no burns, no noticeable stains, broken or missing pieces. Apart from some very light normal use wear it's all just great. (I've used this car to pick up several people from the airport and all of them remark at how nice it is inside....and a couple were shocked it was a 'Taurus' :) No sunroof, ebay defaults. mechanical Mike and I have put about 1200 miles on this car the last 2 weeks and it's really been a great car. It's quiet, smooth, tight, easy to drive, gets close to 30mpg and it's quite civilized. We've bought and sold a ton of freestyles and Tauruses like this and have had great luck. We sold one a few weeks ago with 160k miles that ran great. They were co-designed with Volvo which Ford owned at the time and share much of the drive-train as the XC90. For that reason, they simply do not break. We received this Taurus in perfect operating order, practically came in with clean oil. It's been meticulously maintained by the fleet company and drives just perfect. The brakes, belts, hoses, fluids, everything is all just fine.
