I bought this truck cab and chassis in 2004 as a project truck. I changed the fuel tank and added running boards and stack exhaust. I then installed a pickup bed from a 350 pickup. I installed leather bucket seats at a cost of $2800.00 intending to finish the inside of the truck, but lost interest. I've used this truck to haul equipment and truck tires, pulling a 26 foot trailer loaded with 70 radial truck tires it will cruise at 70mph. I changed the rear end gear this past winter to get better fuel mileage, but I have not used the truck since I did that, so I don't know if it made any difference.
