Here is my 81 VW Rabbit diesel pickup. It has the 1.6 diesel with a manual. The engine needs a new timing belt and does not run at the moment. I purchased a new timing belt kit that I will include in the sale. I purchased the truck to make into a super cheap commuter, Im told they get up to 50mpg, but I ended up keeping a job just .7 of a mile from my home. The truck has two identical rust spots behind the doors where the cab top meets the sides, (see photos) but other than that, I cant find any other rust. There is also a dent in the right front picture. I can deliver the pickup on a trailer to spokane area or moses lake area if needed.
