Vehicle Detail
1951 Chevrolet Coupe We are listing this car for a daughter of a man who is no longer with us. Please try to come look if you can before bidding if at all possible. You can see first-hand what was done and what was used. We will be more than happy to answer all questions but may not know all facts. The motor was to be a freshly overhauled motor. We have done nohting in the way of trying to start-as car has been in storage for two and a half years. We did check the casting numbers on block as follows 3951509. A friend said it checks out to be a 400 4 bolt main. It has been painted and looks to be fresh. Intake is edelbrock torquer, the car looks new and says carter AFB competition series on it. Has a tag on front. New Headers were installed. This car has been subframed. It looks to be camero and of course disc brakes. All works and looks good along with power steering. The paint work is less than average, nobody will comlete this project without a better paint job. She said the car was painted on a cold rainy day. The hood was not painted but is here. it is nice shape. The body and underside does look very solid. I don't think car will require welding anywhere. all glass is in car except two back side windows. We could not find them but they are flat glass. No biggie. Right side of split windshield is cracked. Tires are new as are the american racing wheels. The interior is done and looks real nice . They are burgandy and done in kind of a real heavy velour. Seats are the ones for the car. All parts seem to be here. Garnish moldings, bumpers all stainless seems to be present. All parts will be packed/boxed, and secured in car at time of shipping or pick up. We do have a good friend in the car shippping business call him for quotes. He ships vehicles all over U.S. his name is Jim call 831-840-3630. for questions call 812-537-0585. This car is solid and is a start of a really neat car. this body style seems to be in demand and there are few left. A lot of work has been done so far and of course there is a lot left to do. We do have a clear title and we do sell to all countrys. Both bumpers are here with extra guards. we found original fender skirts along with factory sunvisor.
