Vehicle Detail
This is a 1967 Buick Skylark. The Skylark is fairly solid and complete. It can be restored, but it could also be used as a donor for a more "worthy" project, since it shares the GM A Body platform with the 1967 Pontiac GTO, Oldsmobile Cutlass 442, Chevy Chevelle and Buick GS. These cars share many of the same parts, such as the glass, roof, the front windshield trim, rear glass trim, roofline trim, etc. This car has automatic transmission (Powerglide), power steering and deluxe seat belts. The seat belts are date coded 1967 and feature the Fisher carriage instead of the GM emblem. The wheel well molding on the front fenders is in nice condition, the grill is nice, the hood and hinges are nice. The door panels and rear interior panels are in nice condition. There are a lot of good interior pieces in this Buick, and most of the stainless trim on the outside of the car is in excellent condition. I dont know anything about the motor other than it is complete. I was told it was a 300 cubic inch 2 barrel, but I have not checked any numbers. As you can see, the car was hit in the drivers side quarter panel. That is why the car was taken off the road nearly 15 years ago. It has been in a shed since then. When I opened the trunk I found original fender skirts, hubcaps and a complete bumper jack, all of which are included in this auction. I have a clear open title in hand and ready to go! Please email with any questions. Please do not bid unless you intend to buy the car. $100 PayPal deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close, balance within 7 days of auction close. The car needs to be removed within 7 days of auction close. If there are circumstances that prevent you from removing the car within 7 days, please contact me before you bid and we will try to work something out. Thanks for bidding and good luck! Saturday, May 2nd update: Hi guys. Thanks for all the interest and pic requests. If the car does not sell by the end of auction Sunday morning, I am going to pull some parts off and call the salvage guy to haul off the rest. Please email me your parts requests and I will contact you after the auction ends if nobody purchases the whole car. Thanks again for all the interest in the old Buick! Wes
