Here we go folks a 1962 Ford Galaxie. This is the most stripped down model available, not 500, 300, or even custom, just a Galaxie. This is the perfect starting point to build a 62 406 lightweight clone. They only made 11 62 lightweights. Besides being a nice solid original low mileage car, it already has the 6 cylinder lightweight frame, rare factory radio delete and clock delete, factory 3 " heavy duty driveshaft, red interior, swing pedals for 4 speed and white exterior. All that is needed is the 406 and 4 speed and you would be well on your way. This car runs and drives well. It only had 63554 original miles on the 223 six cylinder. It has a 3 speed on the column. I have a clear Oregon title on the car and the original build sheet as seen in the photos. The car has no rust other than surface rust from sitting. All panels are extremely solid. The car still has the brake shoe retainers on it, thus original brakes which work great. I have an extra grill for the front as the one on the car is bent up from hitting a deer. The front bumper and front valance would also need to be replaced as it is bent up as well. Vehicle is sold as is so please ask all questions prior to bidding. Buyer is responsible for all shipping. I can assist with loading of the vehicle on trailer when it is picked up at my residence, from then on you are on your own.
