1979 Mercury Cougar XR7. 1979 was the last year of the classic body style before the car was downsized. This is a very nice unrestored original car. Southern car with very very little rust. Still has original paint and stripe on both sides. Odometer shows 68522. I DO NOT know if this is actual or not. The car has the optional H code 351 2 barrel engine. I have done the following in the time I have owned: 2 NEW Front tires, new plugs and wires, new shocks all around, new belts and hoses, new brakes all around. Cougar is NOT A SHOW CAR. Very nice potential and basically a rust free car to begin restoration. The car has a decent vinyl interior. Has the XR7 trim. AC car with original R12. Original AM/FM radio. Power windows. Cruise control works. Has power driver's seat. Car is cold natured. Both the engine and transmission want to warm up before driving. Has the optional factory wheels, not the cheap wheel covers.
