1981 Mercedes 300TD diesel wagon. 157425 Miles. This car was driven daily by my father until his death 4 years ago. It has been stored under a shed since then. The car does start and run. Transmission works in drive and reverse, but it has not been driven on the road. It does show some blowby into air filter and is hard to start on cold mornings. Hydraulic rear suspension does work. Gas cylinders that hold up the rear hatch were replaced just before the car was parked. The interior is in good condition except that it is missing the two panels that go under the dash on the drivers and passengers side. It is also missing the wood trim around the climate control, one of the buttons for the climate control, and the hazard flasher switch. The right tail light is broken. There is visible rust under the rear windows , one rear fender, and undersides of the doors that are shown in pictures. Other than that, the body is in good condition with no dents etc. Paint condition is fair with some small chips gone and not as shiny as it used to be.
