1998 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4. I have replaced lots of parts on this truck. The following has been done in the last two years: automatic locking hubs(520.73), battary, alltinator, megafuse,(525.76), lower ball joints(436.53), front brakes and rotors(289.82), retainer and needle bairing(249.84), sway bar links(139.84), idol air control valve(248.91), front differential(1,077.00), transfer case and drive shaft, brake and fuel line repairs(992.82), transmission sprag repair(1700.00), mickey thompsen baja claw radial(693.38). About a week ago the overdrive light was flashing so i took it to a certified transmission shop and they told me that it wasn't shifting into fourth gear. It is still capable of driving in town at 50mph and 2500 rpm's. It should be and easy fix. Also last summer the windshield got cracked. It does have a few dings and scratches including above the passenger side window. The four wheel drive works great. Its great in snow. Its would make a great school or work car.
