1953 Pontiac Chiefton 2 Door All Original Rust Free!! I purchased this car from the original family. It was their Grandmother’s car. It was sold brand new in 1953 in Kearney, NE from a Pontiac Dealer. The car shows 68,000 miles, I am positive that this is actual miles! In 1995 the grandchildren decided to do something special for their grandfather so they had it repainted and partly restored so that their grandfather could drive it, they got it back in running condition; he drove it 10 miles and for some reason he no longer wanted to drive so put it back in the garage. The car is 100% Rust Free! This car is 100% Complete! All original! Straight 8, runs like a sewing machine Hydra-matic Fender Skirts Radio The dash is 100% perfect!! After I purchased it I put in new carpet, rebuilt the starter, fuel pump, all new brakes and seals and master cylinder, I also tuned it up! The tires are average No leaks! The Indian head on the hood is in excellent condition!! The original headliner is above average The glass is excellent except it has a 6” crack in the windshield The windows roll up and down like brand new The stainless steel is amazing for a car that is 57 years old! The car was always garaged The side door panels are perfect The family told me that there were after market seat covers put on as soon as the car was driven off the lot, which is the reason why these seats are in amazing condition This comes with the original owner's envelope that contains the owners guide, instructions on how to operate and enjoy Pontiac’s Hydra-matic drive, and how to enjoy life with your accessorized Pontiac book.
