Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1974 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. It has a V-8 350 cid engine, 350 Turbo Transmission, all factory original, matching numbers. It also has Posi-Traction. I bought this car from the original owner nearly 15 years ago. At the time it had 75K miles on it and it now has 117K. The body has a lot of rust in the rear quarters. The driver's seat needs to be re-upholstered, the rest of the interior - seats, console and headliner are all good. The hood and both bumpers are solid. Comes with the factory floor mats (not shown in pictures). It could use some new carpet. The most important part of the car, the swivel bucket seats, still work perfectly, see pictures. Mechanically the car still starts, runs and drives fine. I just drove it the day I took these pictures. It could use some minor mechanical things - back brakes feel weak, needs metal fuel line replaced, carburetor could use a rebuild (tiny leak sometimes) but runs fine as is. The car comes with 4 brand new 14" Firestone Firehawks with less than 1000 miles on them. Check all pictures carefully, there's rust starting in the front fenders also. For a complete and proper restoration, you would probably need full quarter panels for each side left and right, lower door skins on each side and some body work in each front fender. Could also use a new trunk pan welded in. See pictures. Roof is solid, all glass is perfect. The car originally came with a half vinyl roof which is long gone. Car comes with an extra factory original battery tray, extra deck lid, all 4 original hub caps and the original jack. I'd like to sell this to someone who would either try to restore it or who would at least use it for parts for another worthy Chevelle. I don't really have the heart to scrap it. It's a good running car and I've had it for a very long time. Car has a clear title and is currently licensed and insured. I've tried to include everything I can think of. If you have further questions, or need to see additional pictures, please Email me. Naturally, the car is sold 'as is'. Serious buyers only. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
