Vehicle Detail
95% Original! 1975 Ford Econoline E150, 1/2 Ton, Straight 6, Manual 3 speed. I am selling my van that I have used to tour from Washington State. I am downsizing to a one piece and have no need for a vehicle of this size. The van has run great for me and the only issue I have had is the starter solenoid which I replaced in Texas about three weeks ago. This van comes with a queen size futon mattress and frame that is currently installed (see picture). The Ford straight six is known to be the "bullet proof motor" and everyone that I have owned has lived up to it's name. They are like the energizer bunny! The transmission is a ford manual three speed that is also known for out lasting any of the automatics that were produced. This is one of the best classic vehicles I have ever owned and the van gets more attention than anything due to the original distinctive paint. The odometer only has 5 digits so it reads 35,000 and I am assuming that it has 235,000 miles due to it's age and clean great running engine. You can see the suggested retail by viewing the following site. http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-22-1-5013-0-0-0&l=1&w=22&p=1&f=5014&y=1975&m=1065&d=5992&o=2646&vi=91380&da=1 Features: Runs Great. (I just drove it from Washington State) Original Ford Straight 6 engine (Better mileage than an 8) 3 speed manual Transmission (Three on the tree) Power steering (Yes!) No leaks (It burns a little oil) Original three tone paint in good shape. (It screams 70's) Good Tires (Rears have about half tread and the fronts were new in Washington) Original rims (They could use to be re-chromed) Spare tire with door mount (installed on passenger side rear door) Good solid brakes (They stopped me in a hurry a few times) Working lights (rear light covers have some melting bubbles from the bulbs getting hot) Clean Title (Registered in Washington State) Kenwood CD deck installed. (Love the music) Futon Mattress installed (Queen size bed) Bike rack installed on the front (It isn't going anywhere) Original tow package (it is welded on and only accepts a small ball) RV style roof vent installed in rear (none of the back windows open) The interior was stripped in the back at some point so you will see the metal. Some dis-colorization exists on the paint below the fuel cap. Side door only opens from the inside. (security) Front windshield has some cracks in it. (road warrior) Parking break does not work. (I use a tire chuck) Normal wear and tear exists. This is the most complete description that I can come up with, if you have questions don't hesitate to send me an email. I also have more pictures that you can see by visiting photobucket: http://s816.photobucket.com/albums/zz84/Ravencrowe/The%20Van/ This vehicle is sold as-is no warranty but I know you will love it like I do. History: As far as I know I am the fourth owner of this van. The previous owners were a cover band that used it to haul the gear to shows in Washington State. They purchased it from a contractor who used it to haul sheet rock and plywood to job sites. They told me that he had purchased it from the original owner who used it as a grocery getter. To the best of my knowledge I am the first one to take this van out of the Pacific Northwest which is key because they do not salt the roads out there. Shipping: I am requesting that you pick the vehicle up from me in Nashville, TN. I will allow it to be shipped if the buyer makes the shipping arrangements and pays for all shipping costs. Payments: A $100 deposit will be due within 48 hours of the close of the auction via pay pal. The remaining balance can be paid with pay pal, cashiers check, money order or cash. Happy bidding.
