This is a beautiful very low mileage, dependable daily driver that I couldn't pass up. I am the second owner and bought it from the local Mercedes Benz dealer in Eugene. The records show only one family had owned this car and the dealer shared that when the older man passed his son traded it in on a new Mercedes. The car is in really good condition - the paint is original and except for a nick (see photo) it is almost flawless. You rarely go out that someone doesn't comment or approach you regarding how nice it looks. The glass is original and in great condition as is the interior with the exception of two cracks in the dash. The carpet is in great shape with very light wear. In the last year I have had the timing chain replaced, replaced the exhaust manifold and replaced the radio with an glovebox iPod adaptor/CD/AM/FM player with new speakers and had the seats restuffed (the horsehair original seat cushions started to fail). The brakes are good and the tires are fair, there is no spare. The AC blows really cold and heat works though the lever on the dash is failing. The cruise control does not work. Electric windows, locks and antenna all work well. It never drips fluids, good copression on all 8 cylinders and the frame is straight - no accidents. There is some rust around the inside of the gas filler and some surface rust in the lower truck wells from the gas filling area getting clogged and holding water (common in this model) - there is NO RUST on the body of the car - it is beautiful.
