1975 Mercedes Benz 450SL, 4.5L V8, Automatic Transmission. This is a California Benz. Equipped with power windows, a/c(does not work), 2 tops, and an aftermarket Panasonic in dash CD Player. I would consider this an excellent project car. I wouldn't take too much work to make this a very nice Classic Benz. This car has the original hubcaps(Very hard to find), and the original soft top. It look like the soft top has never been used. There is a tear in the back of the top, but it looks like it's because the top was stored for so long. The exterior of the car is a light blue finish. There are several areas of body damage and cracking. I tried to take pictures of most of them. The car will need some body work, and a repaint. The interior is a blue leather/leatherette upholstery. Looks good for its age. The engine runs strong. The car has an exhaust leak, and the brakes and or booster/master cylinder will need replacing. The car idle's a little high, it could probably use a good tune-up. The transmission shifts fine. I have attempted to explain this car to the best of my ability. This Benz is being sold as-is.
