71 Dodge dart swinger (special). I'm not sure what the special was, I think it was a north ca. dealer package.318 V8 with 727 transmission. Stock rebuild 0.30 over in 2001, about 30,000 miles on it since then.Dual exhaust. Engine is strong. Stock electronic ignition, power steering, manual brakes. Edelbrock 600cfm four barrel carburator. Needs brake/suspension work, and the tires are pretty shot. I think the pittman arm is loose but it is a rebuild from several years ago and has seen little use so should be good.Rust in the quarters and some around the bottom of the top.Body is pretty clean,with some scuffs and small dents, original paint also fairly good but is ready for thorough cleaning/wax/polish. Vinyl top in poor condition,discolored with vinyl paint over but no major tears.Interior is fairly clean,tear on back seat but could just replace the cap.Front seat has cover, The drivers side of original upholstery is pretty torn.Carpeting in front pretty shot under the floor mats.Leaks around the air vents in heavy rain.Headliner in good shape.Original Am radio stopped working a couple years ago,might just be a fuse. My daily driver for eight years or so, but has been sitting around for a couple years now, I just start her up every couple weeks.You could do a little work on it then drive it or get into a little more intensive go over.The big thing is the brakes.I can't be too objective about this car, it's the greatest car I have ever had or will ever have, but It's time to let her go to someone who will take care.True mopar, very original.For what it's worth original manual and goodyear polyglass spare.Please email any further questions or just call Robert(916) 422-7592.
