Up for your consideration is this 1998 For Windstar. We are the seconded owner, and this has really been a great van for us. My kids learned to drive in it so please understand that it has a few dents and dings, and a little rust, but not too bad for a van of its age; the pictures tell a pretty good story about what you are bidding on. We had a different transmission put in a little over three years ago, it was done by a professional shop, but it was a used one… still pulls the van along. The engine (3.8L) uses no oil what so ever, and the van has been serviced every three thousand miles. The heater switch only works on high now, and the A/C worked fine the last time we used it. The passenger side front window switch quit working about a year ago, thought you should know that. Sometimes it will work, but I was afraid it would get stuck in the down position and then what would I do? It has an aftermarker CD player that sounds good in my opinion. The front tires are less than 6 months old, and the rear are between 40 and 50%. It has a Reese hitch, but the hitch-insert will not go with the van. We put air shocks on a few years ago and they still work great. The battery was replaced last year with the best one that NAPA had.
