1974 Porsche 914 w/2.0 engine - this car has the original fuel injection - starts and runs fine (it sat for six months and after a battery charge it started at one turn of the key) but is far from perfect: The Good: Engine seems to be solid and runs strong Interior is in good shape considering the age of the car All console gauges work including the clock (not sure of temp gauge) Has a non original radio - but I have never turned it on Noticed no problems with the battery tray All exterior lights work - except fog lamps Turn signals return to neutral position Spare wheel matches the other four All tires are 165SR15 The Bad: The windshield has stone chip on the driver's side Driver's side rearview mirror is not original but works fine Passenger side rearview mirror is not original but works fine Interior rearview mirror is not original Interior light does not work Windshield washer does not work Windshield wipers require replacement Paint has a few chips and scratches - there are a couple of rust bubbles in the body paint True mileage is unknown - odometers do not work Dashboard lights do not work (I replaced all the fuses so that is not the problem) Rear valance is missing Front bumper pad is missing Engine deck lid is missing Porsche lettering Front hood is missing Porsche badge Left front tire has a leak Driver's side rocker panel is loose Driver's side rollbar chrome trim is loose Rollbar chrome trim is painted black Locks do not work One rear trunk hinge does not work properly The Ugly: Rear brakes basically do not exist - so the parking brake does not work either No heat - one heater box is missing That is what i know, as you can see it needs work, but if you fix the ugly, you'll have a decent daily driver. I have not titled this car in Missouri, but have the previous owner's title from Indiana, I can title in Missouri if required I also have an orange 914 for sale and between it and this car you could come up with a fairly nice car, with an extra engine, and parts to sell, hint, hint.
