Up for auction is our 1988 Porsche 944 TURBO offered at NO RESERVE!. This has got to be one of best looking TURBO's I have ever seen. No cracks in the dash and the interior is like new, with only minimal signs of wear. The exterior is in great condition as well. All of the original V.I.N. stickers are still in place, and most of the paint is original. There is no oxidation, or corrosion. It is very obvious this car was always properly stored and cared for. Mechanically, there are no issues. The clutch is in great shape, and the syncros in the transmission are very tight and show no signs of wear. The engine runs very strong and smooth. When the turbo spools up you definitely know it! There are a couple of tasteful performace upgrades like a performance chip, and the catylitic converter has been removed. We do have record of the timing belt and water pump being done,but it has been a few years. We had our mechanic inspect the belt, and he said it is not cracked or worn and still looked fairly new. To be on the safe side I would anticipate having the belt done by your mechanic at some point. There are no leaks of any kind, and the fluids have recently been changed. All of the electrical components function properly including the sunroof and A/C. The tires are in good shape, and have plenty (65-70%) tread life left. The 18" staggered wheels are great shape as well.The mileage may vary from the vehicles being driven during auction. Check our feedback, bid with confidence!
