It currently has 136,530 Actual miles and runs and looks like it did almost 30 years ago. The engine runs super smooth and powerful and the transmission shifts flawlessly. The suspension is tight and solid and there are no noises or rattles. The engine is totally dry and has no leaks anywhere. Best of all this 350SD gets over 35 mpg. An extensive amount of service totalling over $8000 was completed over the last 4000 miles. Recent services include a Brand New transmission installed by Mercedes. This was not remanufactered but a brand new one. New brake pads and rotors, four new matching Michelin tires, exhaust system, engine shock absorber and belt tensioner were also replaced. New engine, transmission and rear differential seals were also replaced. The brake fluid was flushed and engine oil is been changed with Shell Rotella 15/40. All power features work properly including ice cold A/C, windows, locks, sunroof, mirrors, seats and even the antenna and outdoor temperature gauge. All of the service was completed at Millenium Mercedes-Benz of NJ and not a service shop. I have all of the service receipts and they will go with the car. A perfect and clean Carfax report shows the impeccable service history as well as no accidents or issues and is available upon request. This Mercedes looks as good as it drives. The factory original medium gray metallic paint has a deep glossy shine and is virtually scratch and dent free. It has factory painted pinstripes that complete this beautiful and rare color combination. The Palamino leather interior is Immaculate and looks and even smells brand new. The carpets, seats, door panels, headliner, dash and Zebrano woodgrain all look new. Brand new carpeted floor mats were also just installed. I do take pride in finding the cleanest modern classic Mercedes Benz's out there and this is definitely one of the nicest and well cared for. I recently sold a 1986 300SDL here on eBay for $12600.
