This is a 1973 Buick Le Sabre 2 door Custom hardtop. This Le Sabre Custom is equipped with the optional 455 cubic inch 4 barrel engine. Other options include PS, PB, Auto trans, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, factory 8 Track tape player that works, power trunk release, trailer towing package, map light,bumper guards, Buick floor mats, trunk light and trunk mat. This Buick only has 53,746 miles on it, but sadly it has been sitting outside and has not been used for about 10 years. I recently bought the car from my 95 year old neighbor, who was the original owner. I have an open title in hand and ready to go! I thought about restoring the car, but I think it should probably be a donor for another LeSabre project. If you are restoring a LeSabre convertible and need a complete, original donor car, this is it! This car is pretty much original, it has not been tinkered with or modified in any way as best as I can tell. The 455 still sports its original air cleaner and smog pump. All of the A/C components are still intact. The tail lights, rear bumper, rear bumper fillers, etc are all in very nice condition. The front bumper and the front grill (upper and lower) is very nice. The hood is in good shape. The ash tray and cigarette lighter have never been used. The dash bezel, 8 track player, heater and A/C controls look very nice. Included with the car is a wealth of original literature that includes the owners manual, accesory brochure, maintenance schedule brochure, emissions control brochure, warranty brochure, stereo brochure, consumer information brochure, and several inspection tickets verifying the mileage as original. I threw a battery in the car, but couldn't get the motor to turn over. Not sure if it is locked up or the battery just couldn't turn it over. The oil doesn't have water or antifreeze in it, and it doesnt look like anything underhood has gotten wet, so it should be OK, but I cannot guarantee it. The original 4 core radiator is still intact. The transmission cooler is intact. The smog pump, A/C compressor, everything underhood is exactly where it should be. There are a bunch of great parts on this car.
