I am listing this vehicle for a family member. This car has been owned by a Lutheran Pastor for the last several years. It has been serviced regularly. When the oil was changed they used BMW synthetic motor oil and even though the oil was certified for 10,000 miles they always changed it more often. It has aluminum alloy wheels and near new high performance tires. As you can see, the car has the venerable V12 engine. This motor has never given any ounce of trouble and still does not require additional oil between changes. It starts and runs great. To my knowledge, the car has never been involved in an accident--it is relatively scratch and dent free, although there are some minor marks around the car as you would expect for a car of its age. The transmission shifts perfectly and the front end was aligned when the front tires were replaced last year. There is some minor oxidation on the chrome bumpers and as you can see in the picture, the front parking lenses do have cracks in them. There is some rust on the bottom of both front doors, although it is not visible from the outside. Aside from that, I cannot see any other rust on the car. The paint is not faded as it has always been garaged. When waxed, it is a very impressive automobile. The motor has a very unique sound when it is cranked over and begins to run. It almost purrs. The only comparison I can make is I've been around antique Warbirds and it reminds me of an Allison V12 in a P51 Mustang. Having driven the car home to list it on Ebay, I can testify this car has power! If it had wings it would fly too! The interior is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The carpeting is also in excellent condition. The windows are made of the double pane BMW insulated glass. They are extra thick. The air conditioner blows cold. It has a new BMW battery placed in it at the last servicing and has new U joints on the drive shaft. This is a no reserve auction. The car is being sold with no warranty and "as is".
