1971 Trans Am Tribute. This is a beautiful, well assembled tribute to what has become a rare and highly sought after collectible. Originally a Firebird Esprit 350, it’s now a magnet for attention anywhere you take it. With prices of #'s matching top quality 71 TA’s approaching the $60k range (only a couple thousand were produced), you just don’t see these on the road anymore. The exterior Lucerne blue paint is eye catching with a great shine. The decals are all new and line up properly on the car. I would rate the exterior an 8 out of 10. All of the panels in the car line up straight with no gaps. The fit on the fender vents is outstanding! The doors close as they should with no sag. Windows roll up and down. The undercarriage is also in very good condition. The tires are new and the honeycomb wheels were just refinished and are in very good condition. No rust on this car. The bird is powered by a stump pulling 1972 YH code pontiac 455 motor connected to a 4 speed transmission and a 12 bolt posi rear. The engine is an absolute torque monster with a gear drive which gives it an imposing, head turning sound. It was built for pump gas using Pontiac 6x heads for better flow. The engine starts up easily and runs strong, operating at the correct temperature. Brand new Edlebrock carb. The blinkers, headlights, and brake lights all work properly. New rear tail light lenses. All of the interior gauges work. This is neither a perfect show car or a true numbers matching T/A. It is however a very well executed tribute that will 100% impress at the local shows / cruises. This car could not be duplicated for anywhere near what I’m asking.
