This is a 1965 Chevy II Nova. I was told it has the original 194 cubic inch motor and automatic transmission. The gentleman who sold it to me (a neighbor about a mile away) said he was the 3rd owner. He had it stored in a garage for about 5 years but for the past 3 years it has been outside since he retired. I bought it 3 months ago with thoughts of restoring it. I believe it is restorable or at the very least a good donor car. Here is the skinny:The interior is pretty good for 54 years Some body panels can be savedThe hood and trunk lid are toast in my opinion, i am a moderately skilled body manIt had good glass except the front windshield I was told the motor ran when he parked it but had a bad fuel pump. That makes sense since there is a NIB pump in the trunk. He lost the keys, so i have no keys!It will obviously need trailered On another note: As you can see it is sitting on a concrete slab. The previous homeowner had a barn there that a hurricane destroyed. Any money I make from this Nova will go to getting a proper garage built so i can tackle some hard projects like this.
