ICE COLD, WORKING AIR CONDITIONING! Really. 2001 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage in triple black: black exterior, black leather interior, and black convertible top We have enjoyed owning this car since July 2012 when we bought it from a gentleman in Corona, CA. We are selling it just because we want to get something new and different to play with. Almost seven years and time to move on. Sell one/buy one time. Most folks ask "What kind of car is that?" A few know it's an Aston Martin. It seems to be the only one in our town as far as we can tell. There are a few Ferraris, some vintage Jaguars, and plenty of Corvettes of all ages in town. Perhaps that's because we live in a city near the Spruce Creek Fly-In community where retired airline pilots, a couple of celebrities, and other generally nice people keep their airplanes and their exotic cars in a hanger adjacent to their house. Since we have owned it, we have done the following: o Installed four new Michelin tires o New gas cap (genuine Aston Martin part) (Don't leave your gas cap on the boot and drive away!) o Replaced the original convertible top with a new black canvas top same as the original o The wheels were professionally restored to fix the as-delivered-to-us curb rash o Replaced the power antenna (Car transporter guy had the radio on/antenna up while unloading the car during delivery and bent the antenna.) o Replaced the driver's side outside door handle o We were told the coil packs tend to fail eventually, so we replaced 12X plugs, 12X coil packs, injector O-rings, injector sleeves, and intake gaskets (all genuine Aston Martin parts) when the problem was actually one failed fuel pump. (We learned not to self-diagnose, ask a professional!) o Replaced both fuel pumps o Driver's side windshield wiper arm (genuine Aston Martin part) o FINALLY found someone who could make the air conditioning function properly o Several items from Aston Martin Bits (on the other side of the pond) - wheel center cap - interior door pull "cup" and stick-on foam o Replaced windshield washer reservoir cap (genuine Aston Martin part) When we installed the new tires, I kept one each front and rear of the old tires because it took some time to special order the tires we purchased. In the event that we needed to replace a tire(s) and had to wait for the special order to arrive, we could mount/install one or both of the old tires until the replacement arrived. A car cover is included. I think it is custom made for this car. I probably won't use it to cover another car, so the purchaser may have it.
