This diamond in the rough will make an excellent project car. My 1974 Dart was originally my grandfather's car and has been in the family since new. It was my daily driver to work and back (6 mile round trip) for years until I took it off the road in 2008. This car has approximately 80,000 miles and has an "un-killable" Chrysler slant 6. As a sentimental gesture, my long term intent was to restore this 2 door pillarless coupe it to its former beauty. I just do not have the time to do it. Now I guess it is someone else's turn to help keep her alive. Full disclosure; The car has not been started for 5 years,​ but was in full running condition prior to then. Outside of the lower left and right rear quarter panels rust, and a small spot on the passenger door, the body is solid. I sprayed some exposed areas with brown Rustoleum primer to as a proactive measure to help protect against spreading rust. The car is sold as is. Please know that as a child it was similar projects such as this that helped me build a long loving relationship with my Dad. In the same thought I see this car (a not overly complicated Dodge Dart) as a perfect vehicle to help bond a relationship with a family member for 2019.
