Hello all – this auction is for my 2001 Triumph Bonneville. The person I bought the bike from had bought the bike at an insurance auction with a salvage title. I can only assume it was a theft recovery because there was no accident damage to the motorcycle. The person I bought the bike from couldn’t get it running so I have (within the last 200 miles or so) put in a new battery, new plugs, New upgraded coils, oil and filter and completely rebuilt the carburetors. Ended up there were some small parts missing in the carburetors and that’s what was keeping it from running. I had to take the bike for a vigorous state inspection and now it is legal, and I have a rebuilt Pennsylvania title. I have decided to sell the bike because I don’t get the opportunity to ride it and have many other projects demanding my attention. Besides fixing the bike mechanically I have upgraded many Items such as: Vintage style seat with white piping Low rise café style handle bars Chrome grab rail Chrome valve covers Brake reservoir cover Custom tach Fork gators High flow mufflers Chrome side covers Bar end mirrors Vintage style grips I also went to silver front and rear fenders – I still have the original red fenders that will go with the bike as well as the black side covers.
