Once removed from service as an emergency vehicle, it was utilized as a summer intern vehicle by the Public Works Department. The vehicle currently has 86,328 miles, 13,761 engine hours, 9,917 idle hours and was removed from service in December 2018 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The front & rear tires have approximately 60-70% tread remaining. The vehicle runs well, but it is recommended to have an oil change completed soon. The exterior is in fair condition. The right side headlamp assembly has condensation present. The left front fender has paint chipped at the edge by the bumper, with some surface corrosion beginning. The roof has four (4) plugged & sealed holes from where emergency equipment was previously mounted. Also, there is some surface corrosion & three (3) small screw holes present on the outer edge of the roof on both sides where the light bar was secured to the vehicle. The driver door has some dings & scratches present. Also, the driver door b-pillar trim is cracked & broken. The driver side rear door has dings & scratches present. The driver side rear quarter panel has some minor scratches present. The trunklid has two (2) small screw holes & a small square area where adhesive & surface rust is present from where emergency equipment was previously mounted. The rear bumper cover has multiple scratches & dings present. The rear license plate lights are loose. The passenger side rear door has some dings present. The passenger side front door has some dings & scratches present. The right front fender has some dings present. The interior is in good condition. The center of the dash beneath the climate controls has two (2) small screw holes present from where emergency equipment was previously mounted. The driver seatback upholstery cover is worn & there is a cut on the side towards the center of the vehicle. This vehicle was serviced on a 60-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Dec 2017, at 80,622 miles. At this service, the battery was replaced. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Nov 2017, at 78,330 miles, all the spark plugs were replaced. In Oct 2017, at 77,143 miles, the rear auxiliary battery was replaced. In Apr 2017, at 68,029 mils, the fuel pump module & right axle seal were replaced at the local Ford dealership. In Feb 2017, at 65,768 miles, the coolant reservoir tank was replaced. In Jan 2017, at 64,838 miles, the left side headlight bulb was replaced. In Nov 2016, at 62,978 miles, all the tires were rebalanced. In July 2016, at 60,648 miles, the spot light bulb, both trunk lid struts, & the fuel filler door housing were replaced. In Jun 2016, at 58,853 miles, all four tires, the front brake pads, front brake rotors, front stabilizer links, left front axle & hub assembly were replaced. An alignment was also performed on the vehicle. In Dec 2015, at 50,228 miles, the driver seat belt buckle was replaced & the door handle recall was completed at the local Ford dealership. In early Dec 2015, at 49,695 miles, the water pump was replaced. In Sep 2015, at 45,571 miles, the driver side headlamp bulb was replaced. In June 2015, at 38,578 miles, the battery, rear brake pads, rear brake rotors, & washer pump motor were replaced. The exhaust system was also replaced. In Jan 2014, at 19,070 miles, the right front turn signal assembly was replaced under warranty by the local Ford dealership. In Apr 2014, at 15,496 miles, the right side headlight bulb was replaced. In Jan 2014, at 10,818 miles, the passenger side wiper blade was replaced. In Oct 2013, at 3,343 miles, the fuel pump module was replaced as a part of recall #13S04 by the local Ford dealership. In Oct 2013, at 3,204, the passenger side lower rocker trim was replaced. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
