Offered for sale is my 1991 Honda XRV750-M Africa Twin. I believe this bike is a 1991 model, however, the UK V5 title form says Date of first registration was 15 06 1992. If you are reading this, you know how rare these bikes are in the USA. These bikes were Honda's flagship tribute to the Paris Dakar racing team from the 80's. Water cooled 742cc v-twin which was a very high quality, over-built, typical Honda machine. Never available in the states. I purchased this bike from an friend who imports vintage bikes from the UK, and I have the valid title from the United Kingdom (V5 form), and I also have the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection form showing this bike was legally imported into the US on July 30, 2017. * Please note that I do not have a US title * I can provide an official signed Bill of Sale, along with the two forms noted above.(V5 form and US Customs form) This bike is all original including paint and bodywork, seat, mirrors, bars, exhaust, etc. The aftermarket parts that I can tell are heated grips and the windscreen. Mileage is average for these bikes at 53,341 miles (the speedometer/odometer shows miles, not km) This bike is an excellent rider with all original parts. Smooth and quiet power, very comfortable, and the ultimate vintage dual sport adventure bike. Please take a look at the pictures. There is some surface corrosion, but the bike still looks great! I ended up with a couple of these bikes and do not need them all... so this one is for sale. I rode this bike occasionally around the neighborhood as I never took the time to title or register in my name. The bike always ran well... no problems. Last ridden on Thanksgiving weekend. When I tried to start the bike today, it will not start. I pulled both plugs and there is spark. Added plenty of fresh gas, but it still will not start. I suspect the fuel filter is clogged or the fuel pump may have failed, as all of the lights and ignition are OK. I decided to list the bike anyway at a lower price. It should be an easy fix. I need to part with some of my toys. * Please note as described above - bike currently will not start * This is a no reserve auction.
