NO RESERVE!! Exceedingly rare Hans Muth designed R65LS, only imported a handful in the early 80's (82-84). Factory original paint in incredible condition, 100% stock in every way, and everything works (except ODO - see below)! New battery in the last month and the front ATE calipers and master cylinder are being professionally rebuilt this week at a very reputable local shop in Venice FL ($500 MY COST). Never dropped! New matching Metzeler tires front and rear! The bike's condition will make your jaw drop! Starts immediately hot or cold and runs through the gears perfectly. German precision engineering and beauty at its finest. Very fun to run through the gears, and it turns heads. I have the left original battery /side cover but am missing the right. You can still get most parts from Bikebandit.com. A true time machine in exceptional condition. Still has the full original tool kit and manual! Clear and clean title in hand. I will change the oil and filter this week as well so it will be good to go if you want to fly 'n ride. Very fun and easy to ride. An easy way to get into a mint airhead classic that you won't see at the local BMW rallies. You will not find another in this condition! Thanks for looking and happy holidays! NOTE: I took the bike for a ride this morning (11/29) and noticed that while the speedometer works the ODOMETER does NOT. So the exact mileage is unknown. However, given the condition and provenance, I would think the actual mileage is very close to the current reading. UPDATE ON FRONT BRAKES (12/06/18): The bike shop called yesterday and said the front brakes need complete overhaul - so I am having him install 3 new Spiegler brake lines, and rebuild kits for the master cylinder and both calipers. This is costing me about $500. So front brakes will be PERFECT when you receive the bike.
