The power, the handling, the drivability, and the overall ownership experience was nothing like I’ve ever had before. I’ll never forget the amount of head turns and thumbs up I get and the smiles on people’s faces every time I pass by. I’m sure there’s a couple of other GTR’s for sale on the market, but I know no one cared for their GTR like I cared for this one, especially since it was my very first supercar, I treated it like a queen. I was so determined to preserve its well kept condition for as long as I could call it mine, that it was always parked in my garage at home. On super hot summer days, I wouldn’t drive it because I didn’t want the plastic trims to prematurely fade and gray. The whole car is wrapped in the best paint protection film I could find, called ClearGuard Nano. It’s the first film in the market to bead water so that helped me keep the car clean and dry as much as possible. The clarity is unreal. Yes, I’ve researched all the big brands and trust me, they have nothing on this film. I spent a premium just for this specific clearbra brand because the paint was so important to me. I’m confident that the paint condition on this car is better than any GTR in the same year and miles, because of this protection. Wash the car yourself, or have a detailer clean it, either way because of the clearbra you don’t have to worry about swirl marks or light scratches. Even the tint is no joke. I’ve researched all the “so-called” ceramic films and point for point, this is the best ceramic film I found. Houston’s summers scorch well beyond 120 degrees fahrenheit, and if this can keep me cool (A/C level is constantly at the lowest setting) then I’m sure wherever you live, it can handle the heat. As you can tell, I always try to do the most amount of research I can because I want the best I can get. The exhaust option is no exception. I waited almost a year for this Japanese titanium exhaust, and it was worth it. There’s so many exhaust options for this car, and it doesn’t take much research to realize that this exhaust is as premium as it gets, but no other exhaust sounds this good, especially at high RPMS. It just screams with the sweetest note. The exhaust was over $9000 with shipping and installation but it’s my favorite mod on the car by far. The huge 100m titanium tips are just beautiful especially after a nice wash. It’s a brilliant pop of color on such a deep black car like this one. I didn’t even spare any expense on the carbon fiber emblems. The front GTR emblem and the rear one are machined out of a thick 15-layer block of dry carbon fiber. These are the most premium carbon fiber badges I’ve ever seen. There’s so many layers of carbon fiber that it’s literally thicker than the OEM GTR badges. I even applied a nice fresh layer of matte clearcoat on the carbon fiber accent pieces like the fender badges and the rear trunk, just to make sure they had extra protection against the harmful UV rays from the sun. Was any of this necessary? No, but hopefully this just shows you the kind of care and love I had for this car. The wheels are such a showstopper. Vossen Wheels allowed me to design the wheels of my dream for the car. Being from Houston, the car scene here is incredibly conservative. Most people don’t think to do anything other than black or gunmetal wheels. I wanted to push the envelope and inspire people in the local car community to do something different. The incredible Limelight color by Vossen really did the trick. I can’t count the amount of compliments I get on these wheels. It’s just refreshing to do something radical and you need to have the right car to pull it off and the GTR is perfect for breaking the boundaries and setting new standards. Of course, these are wrapped in incredible sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. I never tracked the car for the simple fact I didn’t want to beat on it or abuse it (even though it’s a beast that could handle it). The GTR was just my weekend car that I drove to nice restaurants and fancy stores (assuming they have spacious parking--no valet!!). I can go on and on about the mods I’ve done, but hopefully just me listing these few will give potential buyers an insight on my build process, that I had for this dream car of mine and the amount of care and attention I put into it. This was a difficult choice to put it up for sale, but I’ve had my full share of enjoyment out of it, and it’s time to give a lucky buyer a chance to experience the same thrill and joy it gave me.
