Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...  I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2002 Lincoln Town Car. It is no secret that the Lincoln Town Car is basically indestructible. With basic service, these vehicles can easily be driven up into the 400k mile range. I would rate the exterior of this Town Car to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in Aspen Green over Tan leather interior, which is a good color combination. The green finish shines well for its age and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific vehicle, there are a few scratches, scrapes and imperfections here and there as you'd expect to find on an older vehicle with higher miles. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. I would rate the interior of this Town Car to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The audio system has been upgraded to an aftermarket in-dash CD player which appears to be working properly and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and is the source of my only complaint about this car. Everything powers up and appears to be working properly, but I am not at all impressed with the heat. It is luke warm, at best...even when turned on high. Everything I know to check seems to be fine, so I don't know what the issue could be. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean the interior of this Town Car looks. Mechanically, this Town Car appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. These are great engines that are virtually indestructible. The engine feels smooth and makes good power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. What's even more impressive is that these full sized sedans stil manage to get an EPA rated 25mpg.
