Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...  I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo with just 136k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Rodeo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The silver finish shows a little age but is presentable, overall, and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, the body of this truck actually looks pretty nice for its age. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please be sure to check out each of the photos and read this entire description carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Rodeo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show well for their age throughout the interior. The seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. There is an issue with the driver's seat, though. The reclining lever thing is broken, so the seat lays back as you see it in the photo. It will move, but does not lock into place like it should. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The previous owner decided to take his radio, so you'll need to put your own in. All of the wiring looks to be present. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. It is too cold to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but I can tell you that the heater works very well. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully and read this entire written description thoroughly. Mechanically, this Rodeo appears to be in good running condition but could use some suspension work. The 3.2L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. There is a noise in the suspension on the driver's corner. It just sounds like a bad strut top bushing, but I've not looked into it further than observing it on my road test. You can feel a slight wobble in the steering wheel, which is no doubt related to the noise I observed in my road test. The wobble is evident at pretty much all road speeds. I did not get out on the highway, but I did manage to get it up over 60 on my road and it feels about the same as it does around 40 so it feels to be not overly sensitive to vehicle speed. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. For the reasons outlined above, I cannot recommend driving this truck from my warehouse. I've driven it and did not die, but my success does not guarantee you'll have the same results. What you do with it is your business, but I will require you to sign a specific waiver of liability if you choose to drive it. I honestly don't think it needs much of anything big to be a fully functional 4x4 by winter. I simply don't want to see a simple problem turn into a bad problem by neglecting to deal with it properly. I'm just trying to look out for everyone here. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
