We bought this car as a former rental and have owned it for about 8 years and have had zero problems with it. It's always been a Florida car but we do have a summer home in Massachusetts but the car has never seen snow, ice or road salt. We left the car in Massachusetts this fall when we returned to Florida so that's where it's at, located at my daughter's house in Billerica, MA. The body has some typical nicks and scrapes but is in decent condition with no real dents. There is a torn out small section, about the size of a playing card, missing from the lower rear drivers side wheel well that happened when a tire separated and beat around inside the wheel well as we came to a stop on the highway. The paint is a bit weary, what to expect on a car with 131,000 miles on it. The motor on this SUV is great. It always starts perfectly, runs great and burns or leaks no fluids. The drive system, brakes and general systems are nearly all in perfect running condition, the only fault I can think of is that the rear defogger no longer works but all the electrical systems work great otherwise. The radio does not pull in stations very well but the CD player works great and I have included a FM device that lets you play other devices over the radio, in the center console. The car is not cosmetically perfect but it's a strong runner and won't disappoint. The front tires are approaching the end of life but the back tires are about half gone. I always bought good tires for it. Again the service engine light is on but does not affect the cars performance at all, one of the tire sensors is also bad indicating that the tires need attention but it's the sensor, not the tire. Our tire guy told me it could be replaced for about $150 but I have always kept good tires on the car so did not bother. The spare tire is nearly brand new and I think the jack was used once on the car. The car runs down the road nice, straight, brakes in a straight line and does not smell or leak any fluids. This car is worth about $5500 in my opinion but I am putting it up at a $1.00 start bid with no reserve, happy bidding and good luck to the high bidder. I will ship the car for the cost of shipping but would prefer the buyer pick it up in Mass. I can arrange for anyone to come test drive the car, it is currently registered and insured with Florida plates. I'd like $500 via paypal within 48 hours of the end of the auction and please don't bid if you don't plan to complete the purchase. PLEASE don't bid if you can't finish the purchase.On Oct-22-18 at 05:11:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Obviously we did not wash or vacuum the car before taking the photos, the car is dirty but cleans up pretty nice, the seats have a few stains but look pretty good and there are seat covers on the front seats. The engine is a 4.0 liter, not a 3.5 liter as I originally listed, the car is a great tow vehicle on the highway and towed our 23 foot boat nicely.
