Vehicle Detail

Very original 88,000 mile car that still retains all of it's body panels. In the last month I have gone pretty over the top with upgrading many things on the car. Front suspension:New KYB shocks, New coil springs, New upper and lower control arms, New strut rod bushings, New tie rods (inner and outer), and New idler arm. All of the suspension work was painted or detailed correctly. Brakes:Converted the old drum brakes in front to 1968 disc brakes. Everything is new. The spindles were media blasted and painted cast grey. Dust shields media blasted and painted black. New inner and outer wheel bearings, new rotors, new calipers, and new rubber lines. I also replaced the MC with a manual brake 1974 Maverick MC. Ever tried that upgrade? Great pedal effort and great pedal travel. Highly recommend. New rear drum brakes in back as well. Engine:This car has 88,000 original miles on it. I installed an aluminum intake, new 4 bbl carb, new water pump, new aluminum radiator, new hoses, petronix electric ignition, new water pump, new power steering hoses, detailed the slave cylinder, and replaced the control valve. No leaks with the PS. (Not many mustangs can say that!). New battery as well. The C4 shifts as it should but does seap a little around the pan gasket. I also added a dual exhaust (H-pipe to tips) and the quad tips out the back. Some of the pictures are from before I did the dual exhaust. I did remove the AC equipment as it wasn't in working order. Body:To compliment the dual exhaust, I added a GT rear valance and GT pop open gas cap. The fog lights work as they should and are new. The body is very straight with a good paint. No real dents or imperfections that are noticeable. I would consider it a nice driver quality, local car show car. While the body looks great the very lower quarter panels do have filler in them. It's not noticeable but I want to point that out. The new GT stripes really set the car off nicely. Interior:The interior is in very good condition. You can see that the seats don't have any rip or tears in them. The dash is newer with shinny chrome. All the gauges work but the dash lights just went out. Might be a headlight switch? I'll try to look at that before auction end. The headliner is very nice as is all the glass and original stainless trim. It's a great car. I haven't owned it long. I'm selling it because I just have too many cars. I enjoy building them so on to the next one. This is a great little fastback that will be a great car to enjoy. One of the things I notice about it every time I get in it is the way the doors open and close. Just a solid feel. This car has been taken care of and has that vintage feel to it (which really attracted me to it). Please ask questions before you bid. On Oct-18-18 at 18:29:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention the condition of the floors. They are original with undercoating. There is a Ziebart sticker on the passenger side vent window that looks to have been there for a long time. I'm sure that aided with the preservation of the metal.
