Time Capsule.....It's 1987 AGAIN!! Beautiful,​ LOW MILEAGE 1987 Honda Prelude 2.0 Si on the market for the first time in 30+ years! This wonderfully kept,​ California owned example is in EXCELLENT condition. This Prelude comes equipped with an automatic transmission, power windows, power mirrors, cruise control, power moon roof, tilt steering wheel, alloy wheels, rear spoiler and air conditioning. The pop-up headlights and ALL accessories work perfectly. In this condition and with such low miles,​ this Prelude is a one of a kind vehicle. This is probably the closest example you will find to a “new” 1987 Honda Prelude Si. This was Honda’s flagship sports car back in the day! It is equipped with a 16 valve 2.0 liter fuel injected engine, a rear spoiler and an upgraded interior compared to its base level counterpart. My Mother purchased this beauty on November 3, 1987. It has been exclusively driven by HER and ONLY HER the last 30+ years! NEVER stored outside, therefore, very little exposure to sunlight and it shows. CALIFORNIA car from day one. ABSOLUTELY NO RUST ANYWHERE! ALL Original EXCEPT stereo with CD player (remember those?) in the trunk and white Enkei wheels ALL original paint except front left fender. LOOK at the engine compartment! NO LEAKS EVERYTHING WORKS! (A/C converted to 134 several years ago) Both original keys, owner’s manuals and various manufacturer’s literature A “book” of receipts and a DETAILED MAINTENANCE LOG documenting EVERYTHING ever done to the vehicle. I mean from oil changes to adjusting the valves to brakes to air filters to allignments to tune ups to radiator flushes to rotating the tires to wheel bearings to, well, I think you get the picture! Only 112,000 miles! The interior is nearly flawless and includes the ORIGINAL floor mats. I Will also include a front vinyl cover aka bra for the vehicle and The Club theft deterrent device for the steering wheel. Now, let me make this crystal clear, the car is in EXCELLENT condition, but it is NOT NEW! There are a few dings and miniscule chips on the car and the left rear quarter panel has a slight crease about 6 inches long. If it were free of ANY blemishes, it would probably be in the Smithsonian Institute! Recent maintenance includes rebuilt power steering rack in April of 2018, tires are a few years old but have LESS than 500 miles on them. Optima yellow top battery is less than 2 years old. Thumbs up from ALL every time it’s in public view. This has to be the CLEANEST second generation Honda Prelude 2.0 Si one will ever find. Don’t miss this beautiful SURVIVOR!
